There's a teacher in Ohio who was born without arms, and she uses her feet to teach her 6th, 7th and 8th graders math and science. Mary Gannon was born in Mexico and was adopted by an Ohio couple when she was seven years old. Last year, she started at the school as a substitute teacher and is now a full-time teacher. She types on her computer and writes on her white board with her TOES! Mary says she doesn't like being called handicapped or even "different" because it comes with a negative bias. She hopes that she can inspire people to do better in life and that people can gain something from her. Her students agree that Mary teaches them that they can overcome any obstacle. Pretty badass, if you ask me!
