This is one of the greatest stories I've read in a while, and you have to make sure you go here to read the entire thing.  In a nutshell: Ilene Boyar was born with Brittle Bone Disease, which means her bones break VERY easily. To give you an idea: she's broken every single bone in her legs at least once. But...Irene just completed her first Tough Mudder competition on Saturday which, if you don't know, is hailed as one of the toughest obstacle courses in existence. Here's how it all got started: Irene saw a post on Facebook about a military vet who had just completed a Tough Mudder even though he had lost an arm and a leg in Iraq. She sent him a message and thanked him for the inspiration. He sent her a message back and told her he'd like to complete a Tough Mudder with her. And so it all unfolded. Through Facebook, the pair created a group of 16 people who flew down to Florida to help Irene complete her challenge. They walked all 12 miles (Irene can't run), used a chain link to get her up and over a ramp and even created a barrier to protect her from other contestants when she crawled through mud with live wires. This story is incredible in so many ways, you REALLY need to go read the entire thing! Ilene Boyar, you are my Badass Chick!!!!
