Today's Badass Chick is Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor. She made history at yesterday's inauguration by becoming the first Hispanic to administer an oath of office when she swore in Vice President Joe Biden. Annnnd, she's a Chick. Which is an added bonus. Sonia was born in the Bronx, NY to two Puerto Rican parents. She became interested in law after watching episodes of the TV Perry Mason (seriously.) and graduated from Princeton in 1976 with the university's highest academic honor, the Pyne Prize.
