Last weekend, everyone heard that Kanye West surprised an Atlantic City crowd by announced that Kim Kardashian was pregnant with his baby. Apparently she was mighty surprised as well -- the impulsive rapper didn't warn her that he’d ask his audience to make some noise for his “baby mama.”
Since that news broke, the next question is how the Kardashian family will market the pregnancy. Of course their reality TV show is a perfect place to keep interest high. But then there are baby photos, maybe even cameras in the delivery room. One source warns, however, that Kanye can’t be in the frame because he (quote) “always looks so miserable.” For the time being, the couple have nixed ideas of a TV special Kim Gives Birth.
She’s not showing yet -- TMZ reckons she’s about three months pregnant. But grandmother-to-be Kris Kardashian has already been talking to tabloids about rights to show Kim's baby bump. The negotiations reportedly start at $300,000. (And to think that Jessica Simpson tweeted hers for free!)
Meanwhile, life goes on. The couple rang in the New Year at Oak in Las Vegas, where Kim collected a six-figure fee for appearing at the club inside the Mirage Hotel and Casino.
