Timberlake Is a Record Breaker Congratulations to Justin Timberlake! His latest song, “Suit & Tie,” has broken a Billboard record for the most radio plays in its debut week. According to Billboard's Pop Songs chart, the single was played more than 6,000 times. The previous record holder was Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way.” Both songs debuted at number-14 on the Pop Songs chart. Timberlake’s is the highest ever for a male artist.
When the sales chart is published tomorrow (Wednesday), “Suit & Tie” could reach the Top 5 with more than 350,000 opening-week downloads. All this goes to show that people were starving for new music from Justin.
